Meet Your Detox Organs

How we get stuff out of our bodies is just as important as how we get stuff in. Enter your detox organs. Our detox organs are the primary organs in charge of moving toxins and waste products out of our bodies safely and effectively.
🌿
As waste products move out of every individual cell of the body they are first dumped into the ECM or Extracellular Matrix. The ECM is the space directly outside of each individual cell and is an important communication gateway for the body. Once waste products are in the ECM the Lymphatic system, which touches every part of the ECM, sucks up the waste and moves it into the main Lymphatic channels which act like the garbage super highway of our body.
🌿
From there waste gets dumped into general blood circulation via the subclavian vein where it is picked up by the Liver. Your Liver is the primary detox organ of the body. It acts like a giant filtration system processing all the waste that accumulates in the body. The Liver processes waste it receives from circulation into fat soluble (bile) and water soluble (urine) end products that then move into the gut and kidneys respectively.
🌿
Once in the gut fat soluble waste, in the form of bile, get processed into feces and is eliminated out the body via the large intestine and colon. The water soluble components move to the kidneys where they are processed and concentrated as urine and moved into the bladder and out the body via the urethra.
🌿
The whole exquisite processes runs non stop all day every day. There is nothing we need to do in order to get this process going but there are some powerful things we can do each day to help ensure this detox process happens smoothly and effectively. I've outlined 9 key ways we can naturally support detox in my free Guide to Detox Fundamentals which you can download by clicking the link in the menu above.
