The Front Mu points are like windows into the body. By pressing and palpating them practitioners can get a feel for the health and vitality of the underlying organs. ☯️ When determining a treatment plan these points can be great guideposts for a practitioner to steer their point selections in the right direction. Traditional Chinese Medicine, or TCM is a science of relationships. In TCM relationships are what govern health. Relationships between the organs and organ systems, relationships between humans and nature and relationships between humans and society. How these relationships flow and interact with one another in specific patterns is what can be understood and harnessed by a TCM practitioner. ☯️ The concept of the 5 elements so beautifully describes these fundamental relationship patterns between organ systems and the flow and transfer of energy, or information, between these systems. There’s a bill to license Naturopathic Medicine in the NYS legislature right now that needs your support to get passed. 🏙 Politicians are busy and forgetful so need constant reminding of why things are important. Bills pile up and aren’t always gotten to in any legislative season. 🏙 If you or a loved one lives in NYS click on the link in my bio to send your congressman a notification of why passing licensure for NDs in NYS is so important. 🏙 Licensure would allow qualified NDs to openly treat and cure thousands of chronically ill patients seeking naturopathic health care.
Fatigue is a very common presenting complaint for functional docs and it’s one with a very large differential diagnosis. 🌱 A differential diagnosis is a fancy doctor term for a list of conditions, besides the one you are thinking is most likely, that the presenting symptom can also be. For fatigue the differential list is quite large and has some serious conditions that need to be considered and ruled out. 🌱 You may have adrenal fatigue, you may be iron deficient, or it may be something else or it may be both. It’s important to see a qualified health care professional who can help you sort this out and rule out some of the more serious conditions. 🌱 In my practice I like to use a technique called BAH in evaluating my patients and determining the best course of treatment. BAH stands for Bioresonance Analysis of Health and was invented and pioneered by Dr Thomas Szulc.
